About
Elle is a NY based creative from Seoul, Korea. After working professionally for few years as art director and designer in NY, Elle moved to MI in 2008 to pursue her masters degree in 2D Design at Cranbrook Academy of Art under the tutelage of Elliott Earls. Elle has been working with custom typography, free form lettering and illustrations both in print and installation. She continues to explore new materials that challenge her process of working and seeks to blur boundaries to make inter-disciplinary work.
In 2010, Elle received the
Art Directors Club Young Guns 8 award. Currently, she divides her time between client work and focusing on her personal work at her collective studio space in Brooklyn, where she often collaborates with fellow designers and makers.
